This is David Simmons' implementation of his Remote Control Camera project. The camera is mounted in front of David's home in Cary, North Carolina.
Using the Camera
Just click one of the four "Pan" buttons below the window and wait for the camera to respond. You can control the amount of pan through the pull-down menus.
Please be gentle. This is a multi-user application, so rapid, repeated movements aren't going to help. If your command isn't being 'recognized' it is possible that someone else is controlling the camera. Wait a few minutes and try again rather than re-sending your command.
The camera is available during local daylight hours. If the screen is black, it is probably nighttime at David's place.
